Home

We have finally added some color to our living space! After looking at some previous pictures of our very bland living room I told Chris that it is time to put some money towards decorating! We have found ourselves eating out to much and I mentioned to Chris that we should start using that money for the house instead. Men just would rather have food because at first he didn't look to excited by my idea. We are not finished with it but at least it is a start!

Our Living Room Colorized!!

View from fireplace. Yes, I still love my $5 end table i found at a yard sale.

Don't really know what to call this area.....

This plant came from Granny's home. I have moved it from the Entry way into the living room to give it some greenery.

The puppies say hi! The carpet was our first item we purchased together and decorated around it.

The Chaise that Daddy gave us has been removed from the office and brought down to the living room!

This is a reading area/ where the kids do their homework or are rewarded to eat in the living room.

A reading area/time out chair! Wanting to get some curtains, but not sure which color I should choose..any ideas?

Everything looks really good! I still love that end table, too : ) And I really love that dish cabinet. All the colors look really nice. If you want curtains, I suggest going with something lighter in color with touches of color from the rug instead of a darker color to match the rug. I'm always regretting not having lighter curtains! It takes away so much light from the room! Here's a post from a blog I like and she definitely proves that! You don't have to read everything- just scroll down the pictures. She shows the dark room first and eventually changes the curtains and it makes a ton of difference- http://thriftydecorchick.blogspot.com/

Thank You! We have a ton of light in our living room simply because of the two sets of french doors going to the backyard as well as the two windows. It makes it difficult to watch t.v. because of the constant glare! I looked at the blog you suggested and I really like the living room before picture a lot better then the after. I think she made her living room look more like a bedroom and it looks blah. I like the brighter bolder colors anyways.

Worldwide, the U.S. economy is very bad, such as the Federal Reserve in position, do not come out to see the QE3. A big problem in Europe, two days and then drop a mess, do not know what will happen last. Emerging markets does not work. Only China, from 08 years of good control, then come up with four trillion stimulus Mulberry Handbag, the basic inflation is under control now, not like India and Brazil. However, the local government's ten trillion debt may be an economic time bomb. If the global economy, the second bottom mark that? Is an economy's GDP growth is zero or negative growth for two consecutive quarters. U.S. GDP is now zero http://www.mulberry-bags.net/index.php/men-mulberry/mulberry-purse.html, it is particularly dangerous. The Chinese government will never again be the same as in 2008 out four trillion, or else inflation would fly to heaven.
