Easter 2011

This year we celebrated Easter alone. We dyed eggs with the kids and hid them in our yard. They didn't seem to mind that it was just us. To me it just seemed weird since I am use to getting together with all of my cousins and aunts, uncles, parents, sisters, grandparents....

T-ball Time!

This season Preston is a Trimble Demon with Coach Doug Smith. He is more focused this time around and understands the game. His team won the majority of their games and were very exciting to watch. I love watching him play!!! He also won the game ball!

Spring Soccer

This year the kids ended up on the same soccer team because of their ages being so close. The kids started off playing great but then ended up losing interest really quick. They both played soccer better when on their own teams.

Kayla's 7th B-day!

Kayla wanted to invite all of her friends over to spend the night this year. Tangled is her favorite movie so we decided to decorate everything with this theme. Kayla's face lit up as she saw the kitchen decorated with balloons and waited for her friends to arrive. One by one the girls came running in throwing their arms over Kayla. I made lasagna for everyone because that is one of her favorite meals. Only it wasn't for the majority of the others,lol. I ended up having to make some sandwiches and others soup. Guess it would have been easier to just order pizza! The girls gathered and watched the movie Tangled and had a coloring contest. Also, the girls had a pet show in which they all wanted my huge mouse to be their pet! Gift opening was crazy! Everyone pushing their gifts towards her and some actually were helping her open them. One girl was upset because another told Kayla what her gift was. It was a very long night of giggles for these little girls. I was up until almost 3:30am with tow of them!

Recently Chris and Brian have taken over Elite Wrestling Entertainment in Ripley Tennessee! We have been to the building several times throughout the last couple of weeks repainting and organizing for their first show March 26th! I have a few friends who will be helping work the concession stand and I will be working the front door and selling t-shirts and *wrestling gimmicks*. We were unable to visit Collierville during Spring Break due to work during the day so Mother and Daddy came to visit us for a day. We enjoyed a nice lunch at El Patio and spent the afternoon watching some of Kayla's cheerleading videos. Since they would be driving through Ripley to get back home , we took them to the wrestling building. Chris showed them a few moves and I believe that had a lot of fun roaming the ring.

Chris's 35th Birthday

For Chris's 35th Birthday we went to Mom's Buffet for lunch which is located in our Newbern town square. Chris's parents had planned on getting his cake and decorating the kitchen so my part was to keep him out of the house for awhile so this could be done. When we got home Chris immediately noticed that the puppies were out and so his focus was near the ground. He didnt even notice the decorations above his head. As he walked in the kitchen he just froze and then kinda jumped as he was confused as to why his parents were just standing in his kitchen hahah. Later that evening we went to Jackson for his Birthday Dinner at Double D Ranch and then to a karaoke bar for some laughs.
